Vasari is delighted to present Lo bello y lo urticante, a solo exhibition by Alejandro Kuropatwa (Buenos Aires, 1956–2003) at the gallery.
The exhibition brings together a collection of photographs taken by Kuropatwa during the final years of his life, in which he explores the construction of femininity and beauty rituals, alongside a series of botanical photographs, a theme that runs through his entire body of work.
Accompanied by a text by Mercedes Claus, the exhibition will occupy both rooms of the gallery and will run until the 2nd of October, Monday to Friday from 11am to 7pm, at Esmeralda 1357, Buenos Aires.
