At first glance, we are confronted by an almost vertiginous exuberance, flowers, fruits, shells, seeds, fabrics, marine organisms, marbled surfaces, ornamental patterns and chromatic explosions accumulate in compositions that seem to challenge any visual economy. However, the more we observe these works, the more we realize that we are not faced with a celebration of excess as accumulation, but with a delicate investigation into the infinite forms through which matter repeats and reinvents itself."

Rather than presenting nature as a static subject, the exhibition reveals it as a dynamic field of continuous transformation, where organic and artificial elements coexist and dissolve into one another. Through richly layered paintings, Mariana Palma constructs visual environments in which textures, patterns and forms interact in unexpected ways, inviting viewers to move beyond immediate recognition and engage with the subtle relationships that connect the microscopic and the monumental, the familiar and the unknown.
