Galería Hilario Galguera is pleased to present Index VII: XX, an exhibition that revisits, from a contemporary perspective, some of the defining lines that have shaped the gallery’s program over the course of two decades, within the context of Mexico City Art Week 2026.

Index VII: XX returns to one of the gallery’s most recognizable collective projects, conceived as a space of convergence between diverse artistic practices and forms of thought that have established the gallery’s style and conceptual framework, defining its positioning within the international contemporary art context.

Curated by Hilario Galguera, this edition of Index moves away from conventional exhibition formats to unfold as an ongoing dialogue that has shaped the gallery’s artistic environment. Across three key venues, Index VII: XX is presented as a journey that reflects the ways in which the gallery has expanded its exhibition strategies and modes of dialogue in recent years. From its intervention at Casa Hotbook, through the space of Galería Hilario Galguera Condesa, to the gallery’s largest-scale venue in the historic San Rafael neighborhood, the exhibition is conceived as an expanded curatorial project.
