In Pintor convida pintor, seven artists open the doors of their own visual territories to welcome seven other artists, creating a space where painting becomes a shared gesture. Each invitation is also an act of recognition: an aesthetic affinity, a shared restlessness, or a productive divergence that expands the scope of both. Therefore, the exhibition is built as a device for dialogue, where different generations, practices, and sensibilities intersect without predefined hierarchies.
Painting reveals itself here as a living and plural field, where time overlaps and voices intertwine. This interweaving, is visible both in the direct proximities formed between pairs, and in the transversal relationships established between more distant works. Above all, there is a desire to listen: to listen to color, to gesture, to material, and to silences that inhabit the spaces between forms.
Between affinities and contrasts, between gestures that converge and languages that unfold, Pintor convida pintor offers a sensitive snapshot of contemporary painting. More than a simple gathering of works, the exhibition proposes a space of transit, where past and present meet, and where each encounter opens the possibility for new interpretations, new connections, and new ways of seeing.
