In the dressing room of the Bedroom where he was born, which preserves the original decoration of the last quarter of the 19th century, exhibits include a cashmere coat lined with fur, a waistcoat in woollen cloth with a cotton diagonal, made by the Milanese tailor Prandoni, and a silk scarf which belonged to Giacomo Puccini.

The museum preserves original furnishings, precious objects belonging to the musician, including autograph scores of young compositions (the first work, the Orchestral Prelude found in 1999, and the 4 voices Mass of 1880), many letters by and Giacomo Puccini ( like those by Giulio Ricordi), paintings, photographs, sketches, memorabilia and precious documents, such as copies of work and drafts of the libraries of Tosca and La fanciulla del West, a rare draft of the score of La fanciulla del West, a score de La rondine, full of autograph annotations and musical sketches.
