The Birthplace storeroom is an ideal attic for the I and IV Picture of La bohème (stage design made by the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, costume of Mimi by the Fondazione Cerratelli).

From the “covered stage terrace where the ladder is placed” visitors can enjoy the view of the Archangel St. Michael, on the top of the facade of the nearby church.

Puccini Museum

The museum preserves original furnishings, precious objects belonging to the musician, including autograph scores of young compositions (the first work, the Orchestral Prelude found in 1999, and the 4 voices Mass of 1880), many letters by and Giacomo Puccini ( like those by Giulio Ricordi), paintings, photographs, sketches, memorabilia and precious documents, such as copies of work and drafts of the libraries of Tosca and La fanciulla del West, a rare draft of the score of La fanciulla del West, a score de La rondine, full of autograph annotations and musical sketches.
