Embed_v2 is a photography installation blending intimate, close-up portraits of the body with projected textures resembling human and supernatural anatomy within an ambient dream-state environment. The series integrates new media and 3D printing, bending traditional print photography. Each portrait is a portal, breathing ethereality into our material world.
The installation creates a space where the boundaries between the physical and the imagined begin to dissolve. The close proximity of the portraits draws attention to the textures, surfaces and details of the body, while the projected elements introduce an atmosphere that feels both familiar and otherworldly. Photography becomes a meeting point between material presence and transformation, allowing the image to move beyond the limits of conventional representation.
Through this combination of photographic portraiture, projection and three-dimensional processes, Embed_v2 considers the body as something unstable, shifting between human recognition and supernatural suggestion. The work invites viewers into an immersive environment in which images appear to breathe, change and inhabit the surrounding space, creating a suspended state between intimacy and estrangement. Rather than presenting the body as fixed or complete, the installation opens it onto new possibilities, where technology, materiality and imagination converge.
