This selection brings together a group of works that trace the development of conceptual photography in Colombia from the 1970s to the present. Beyond mere documentary record, these artists understood photography as a field of experimentation: a means to interrogate the image, the body, identity, and the country.

The works engage in a dialogue between techniques and generations—from the analog silver gelatin prints of the era to photographic reagents on rigid supports, negative collage, and contemporary digital printing—revealing a tradition in which the conceptual gesture and the materiality of the process are inseparable.
