Sarah Assi is a dedicated content writer and journalist whose career spans digital media, television reporting, education, and cross-cultural communication. Currently based in Germany, she brings a unique blend of analytical thinking, storytelling expertise, and multilingual capability to every project she undertakes. Fluent in Arabic and English and proficient in German, she uses her linguistic versatility to create content that reaches broad and diverse audiences. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to truth, clarity, and the power of communication to inform and connect people across different backgrounds.
Sarah began shaping her journalistic identity during her academic years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Lebanese International University (LIU), graduating with a GPA of 3.57. Her early studies allowed her to build a strong foundation in news writing, mass communication, media law, and investigative research. Motivated by a desire to understand how journalism influences public perception and social development, she pursued further academic specialization at the Lebanese University. There, she completed her master’s year in Journalism and Mass Communication (M1) and progressed into a master’s program in Economics and Development Journalism (M2). This advanced focus gave her the analytical tools to examine economic issues, political dynamics, and social challenges with depth and clarity, shaping her ability to approach global topics with a critical and informed perspective.
Sarah’s first hands-on professional experience came through her journalism internship at NBN TV in Lebanon between 2017 and 2018. Immersed in a fast-paced newsroom environment, she learned to navigate the challenges of breaking news, tight deadlines, and constantly evolving storylines. During this time, she conducted field interviews, reported on daily events, assisted with video editing, and contributed to the production of news segments. The experience taught her the discipline of accuracy, the importance of clear communication, and the responsibility inherent in media work. It also strengthened her confidence in working under pressure, verifying facts, and engaging with sources directly.
Parallel to her journalism work, Sarah spent several years teaching Arabic at the Ansar Elementary School for Syrian Refugees from 2017 to 2022. In this role, she not only focused on language instruction but also created interactive, culturally sensitive lessons designed to support children who had experienced instability and displacement. Her work in the classroom deepened her empathy, patience, and understanding of diverse human experiences. It also reinforced her belief that communication—whether through language, education, or storytelling—plays a central role in empowerment and social connection.
Sarah later expanded her professional path into digital marketing and online publishing. From 2021 to 2023, she worked as a content writer for Creatives Digital Marketing Agency. Working remotely with international clients, she wrote SEO-optimized blog posts, marketing scripts, and website content for various industries, including business, lifestyle, and technology. She developed content strategies, conducted keyword research, and resolved on-page SEO issues to improve search rankings and user engagement. Through this role, she gained a deep understanding of digital trends, content performance, and the strategic side of communication. Her ability to translate complex information into engaging, accessible content became one of her strongest professional assets.
Sarah has also consistently invested in expanding her skills beyond writing. She became proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, which strengthened her ability to support multimedia projects. She gained experience using Microsoft Office tools and digital platforms essential for content planning and reporting. In addition, her participation in workshops such as Election Monitoring (LADE Association), Conflict Resolution, and Communication & Networking further broadened her understanding of civic processes, interpersonal communication, and collaborative work.
Today, Sarah continues to evolve as a writer and journalist, expanding her portfolio across new formats, industries, and subject areas. She is currently collaborating with Meer Company, where she writes articles covering economy, politics, travel, science, and technology. This collaboration allows her to merge her academic background with her passion for research-driven storytelling. At Meer Company, she produces in-depth articles that analyze global economic trends, explore political developments, highlight scientific advancements, and present travel experiences through a cultural and educational lens. Her work aims to inform readers, simplify complex topics, and spark curiosity about the world.
Driven by a commitment to accuracy, creativity, and meaningful communication, Sarah continuously seeks opportunities to grow and contribute to forward-thinking media organizations. With her multicultural experience, digital expertise, and passion for impactful storytelling, she remains dedicated to delivering content that educates, inspires, and connects audiences across borders.
