GR gallery is pleased to present Blue season, a late summer group show featuring artists: Carlo d’Anselmi, Jon Burgerman, Glendon Cordell, Celeste Diaz Falzone, Lucas Geor, Teji Hayama, Tatsuhito Horikoshi, Suanjaya Kencut, Maiko Kobayashi, Satoru Koizumi, Ai Madonna, Tania Marmolejo, Alex Mihalko, Atreyu Moniaga, Daniel Morowitz, Shoko Nakazawa, Daniel Nunez, Carlos Pineda Palma, Leo Park, Han Choong Seok, Marcelo Suaznabar, Kohei Yamada, Masumi Yamamoto, Takuya Yoshida. With a combination of distinct styles, the exhibition reflects on the unique and fleeting beauty of the warmer days through a meditation on change, memory, and the passage of time.

As the days grow shorter and the warmth of summer gradually gives way to the approaching crisp, we often start observing an inevitable change in our surroundings and within ourselves. Blue season invites the viewer to take part in summer’s farewell through a range of shared emotions from nostalgia and melancholy to comfort and acceptance while determining what change means to us.

Through the artist’s works, we highlight summer’s gentle transition period and celebrate the quiet in-between as a time of reflection, transformation, and appreciation for the last lingering days of light before we begin settling down for the colder months.
