The initiative, conceived by House of Art (Munich, Germany) and carried out in collaboration with the Pinacoteca, aims to place childhood at the center of the artistic experience. More than an exhibition, it is a network of cultural exchanges that invites children to think, live and intervene in the world through art.

For children: experiences with art since 1968 is focused on a children's audience, although it extends to visitors of all ages. Inaugurated at the Haus der Kunst in Munich, Germany, in 2025, and now at the Pinacoteca, it brings together works by eleven artists from various countries, all, in their own way, interwoven with materials, games, questions, research, and stories so characteristic of the world of children. They are: Agus Nur Amal PMTOH, Ana Mendieta, Ernest Net, Hey Arakawa-Nash, Graziela Kunsch, Harun Farocki, Lygia Pape, Ólafur Eliasson, Rachel Rose, Rivane Neuenschwander e Yto Barrada.

The oldest work in the exhibition dates from 1968, and that's no ordinary date. During that historical period, counterculture movements questioned social structures and defended freedom of thought and expression for all people.

Since then, it has become evident that childhood inspires a sensitivity and a set of attitudes essential for individual and collective change. Life in society, art, and mutheir are not the same in the presence of a child.
