The Video Room in the Pina Luz building is exhibiting the video installation Urubu (2021) of Luiz Roque (Cachoeira do Sul, 1979).

Inside the houses, people experienced o confinement and the uncertainties surrounding a disease that has taken so many lives. Meanwhile, a vulture flies between the buildings, carrying metaphors of freedom and death, in a video installation.

From the window of your apartment, in downtown São Paulo, Luiz Roque captures the film. Recorded on Super 8 film and without sound. The camera follows the bird movement while time seems suspended. Made almost without cuts, the edition reinforces the idea of ​​a life and death cycle that never ends.
