ADZ is pleased to present Clémence de La Tour du Pin’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Conceived around a dialogue between objects and spatial relationships, the exhibition introduces a body of work that reflects the artist’s ongoing interest in transformation, material presence, and processes of accumulation and alteration over time.

La Tour du Pin’s emblematic stand-alone objects and wall-based works function both as proxies and as recursive variations marked by use and temporality. Materials such as wax, wood, textile, and found elements are continuously reconfigured into structures that resist fixed definitions, occupying a space between fragility and permanence, exposure and containment. Their forms suggest traces of previous states while remaining open to new associations and interpretations.

The exhibition employs distinct supports that subtly bridge space and artwork, extending the relationship between individual pieces and their surrounding environment. Rather than acting as neutral display elements, these structures become active components of the installation, amplifying the presence of each work and creating a rhythm of encounters throughout the space. Together, the works propose an environment in which material memory and spatial perception remain in constant negotiation.
