The only thing that is certain is change.

We change as people, and we update ourselves. In its terms, this can be called an ‘update’ of a system that has grown tired of playing the old game. Do these changes happen overnight, and are they visible to the naked eye? One thing is certain: before change appears on the outside, it must first take place inside you as the ‘customer’ ordering the change. Because sometimes we grow up to our dreams along the way, and it is this path that prepares us to realize them.

Process

Change does not happen from Monday to Tuesday. It takes time and space. Changes do not happen thanks to the skills and qualifications we acquire. It is we, as people, the beneficiaries of change, who grow up and mature into it. Because change does not come to children. To people who wait with empty hands. Change comes to those who have taken on as many forms as a chameleon in their search for themselves.

Maturing for change is a process. And it is not detached from reality. Change must be approached radically. This is not about deserving it. It is about dedicating our free time and attention to the issues that concern us. It is about the real actions we take to be in a different place than we want to be.

These changes happen when we reach a certain turning point. When we become less and less like the person we were a year ago. Because change does not come from the outside, but from within.

Roles

Change occurs when we stop playing old roles. Contrary to appearances, this does not mean that we should immediately quit our jobs and start a new life. The point is not to discover the same roles in the same way in both our professional and private lives. Change requires a transformation of our character. Step by step. Day by day.

The willingness to let go of old roles is often the greatest difficulty for people. How can we stop playing the role of a strong woman or a warrior fighting the whole world for attention? It is not so easy to raise our standards when the echo of the specter of victimhood still reverberates within us. However, it is leaving these roles behind that determines our gradual “qualification” for change.

Change does not come to people who play any roles. It comes as a reward to those who have learned to follow their own path. Because change requires going beyond established roles and patterns. It also requires you to step out of your comfort zone. Change favors the brave and revolutionaries who are not afraid to put their past on the line.

Flexibility

Every change requires flexibility on your part. You cannot demand change if you are still mentally attached to what you have been doing for years. It is our readiness for new experiences that determines whether we invite change into our lives. This invitation requires openness and childlike curiosity. What will happen next? The future we do not know can be as exciting as it is frightening. The key is the ability to dance on this thin line and dare to make a new beginning.

If you need change, it is essential to look for new paths and inspiration. Change will not happen on old ground and old inspirations. You have to become a diver who goes underwater for the first time and has no idea what will be at the bottom but whose curiosity is stronger than fear. You have to win this battle with yourself in order to dive deeper and get closer to experiencing change in your life.

Letting go of control

Reaching the point of real change in the physical world requires letting go of control. Because life is not about planning it and putting yourself in boxes of how you see all the orders that come to you and where and how the money flows to you. The best things that come your way don't come from a plan but from creatively “delivering” yourself to various opportunities and occasions in life. Because change comes from playing and seducing life, not from racing against it and fighting it.

There is a saying: “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans for the future.”

The best things come outside of plans and control. If we constantly define ourselves, we leave no room for change and growth. It is worth letting life surprise us. If we try to manipulate the course of events all the time and treat life like a planner to tick off, we are not really living it to the fullest. Life is not a task. Change is a test of personality: can you trust the unknown?

Training

Change does not come to those who do not train for a new role. If you want to achieve a dream, you should practice yourself in a new role. New tasks or a new job come when we put ourselves in a new role. For example, when we change careers and practice new skills every day, we begin to become specialists in our field.

The same is true of the people we surround ourselves with and the content we consume—as viewers or readers. Who you surround yourself with and what you surround yourself with significantly influences the shape of the change you want to invite into your life. The people who inspire you are really the prototype of who you want to be and the direction you are heading in.

Change is a process that needs to be prepared for. However, it is worth remembering that it is on the path to change that we learn the most, because we acquire a new identity. This new personality comes with our development, flexibility, vulnerability, and the new role we practice. Long-lasting and effective change is therefore a project, not a random twist of fate.
