Ton is a self-taught artist who paints realistically, but from a different reality. His work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Louvre in Paris, the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, the Triennale di Milano Design Museum, the Superstudio during Milan Design Week, Moscow Design Week, Shenzhen Design Week, the Museum of Bags and Purses in Amsterdam, the Dutch Shoe Museum, the Mauritshuis in The Hague, and now the Danubiana Museum. Ton is also active in the world of design.

Prominent figures in the design world are fans of his creations, including renowned Italian designers Alessandro Mendini (RIP) and Alessandro Guerriero, both known from the world-famous Studio Alchimia. Ton has a unique talent for transforming everyday objects into works of art.A brief selection: high heels for Paris, a Louis Vuitton bag, a Michael Kors bag, sneakers and shoes, Nike balls, bicycles, a Fender Stratocaster guitar, and more. One of his most iconic pieces is the “Ton Pret Ferrari Art Car,” a hand-painted Ferrari 355 GTS. Known as the fastest artwork in the Netherlands, it is currently driving around New York.

Cavallino Magazine, the official Ferrari magazine, published a 25-page feature on Ton, placing his car alongside the Art Cars of legends like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.
