It´s almost time for the next stop for the International Bus Expo, the only bus sector expo Italy: In fact, in Rome on 30th November and 1st December there will be ´IBE Conference: Buses at the centre of sustainable mobility´, a two-day event organized by IEG . Italian Exhibition Group (the company formed by the merger of Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza) along with ANAV, (Italy´s national association of passenger road transport), to outline the future of road transport with seminars and workshops providing in-depth coverage of the most interesting issues for the sector´s trade members.

From the presentation of the report on bus hire with drivers, through the study on tourist coaches, to sessions technical on electronic ticketing systems, at Rome´s Sheraton Golf Parco dei Medici on 30th November and 1st December the engines will also be warmed up for the next edition of the International Bus Expo, scheduled at Fiera di Rimini from 24th to 26th October 2018: for the expo, held every two years, this will be the first under the Italian Exhibition Group banner.

Italian Exhibition Group´s General Manager, Corrado Facco, explains, ´International Bus Expo is an important product for us, not only for its value as an expo, but also because it is part of our policy of focussing increasing attention on sustainable mobility. IEG has a high-profile green heart, and for this reason we are proud to organize two events such as IBE Conference and International Bus Expo, not to mention the fact that at Ecomondo, the largest B2B expo on the circular economy, there is also H2R, the exhibition that highlights sustainable, intelligent and integrated mobility. In 2018, at IBE, particular effort will go into further developing the entire product chain and actively involving the local public transport sector.´ The last edition, in 2016, occupied the four twin halls of the west wing of the Rimini expo centre, with a dedicated entrance and a total of 20,000 square metres, as well as the outdoor areas for the test drives: a significant increase compared with the previous edition, when the space occupied did not exceed 8,500 square metres. So more space for more exhibitors, who will represent the whole national and international product chain of the bus travel industry, from vehicle manufacturers through components to accessories.
