The Colourists were prolific draftsmen, seldom without a sketchbook, essential to the working artist.

The exhibition includes ten recently acquired works by J D Fergusson, as well as works by: Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell RSA, RSW (1883-1937), John Duncan Fergusson RBA (1874-1961), George Leslie Hunter (1877-1931) and Samuel John Peploe RSA (1871-1935).
