Bvlgari kaleidos: colors, cultures and crafts continues its journey across continents with a new chapter in Shanghai, at the Power Station of Art, mainland China’s first public contemporary art museum. Bringing together a newly curated selection of over 300 chromatic jewelry masterpieces, alongside contributions from leading contemporary Chinese artists, the Shanghai edition expands and reinterprets the original exhibition through the lens of Chinese culture, philosophy and artistic traditions. Open to the public from September 5 to October 31, 2026, it unfolds across three chapters - The Science of Colors, Color Symbolism and The Power of Light – introducing new perspectives on Eastern and Western visions of color through the chromatic creative universe of the Roman Maison.

A global metropolis where innovation meets centuries-old heritage, Shanghai provides a resonant setting for this new chapter of Bvlgari kaleidos. Here, Bvlgari’s approach to color engages with China’s rich visual and philosophical traditions, a catalyst for cross-cultural exchange.

Taking its name from the Greek kalos (beautiful) and eidos (form), Kaleidos brings together over 300 chromatic masterpieces, from High Jewelry creations to selected pieces from the Bvlgari Heritage Collection and prestigious private collections, spanning from the origins to the present day. Conceived as an integral part of the Shanghai edition, the works of Chinese artists Liang Manqi and Zhang Ding expand the exhibition’s chromatic exploration as interpreted by contemporary Chinese artistic creativity.
