Humans perform based on roles on the stage of time, much like a movie that plays on repeat endlessly.
Number1Gallery proudly presents a solo exhibition Man’s theatre by Pongpon Preechanon. The exhibition invites viewers to explore and critique the transition between the rise and fall of humanity, trapped in an inescapable cycle of struggle, be-lief, war, and losing, which repeats itself from the past to the present, from witch hunts to battlefields, and from glorious civilizations to ruins.
The paintings in this exhibition serve as a testament to the drama of the Cycle of humanity, inviting viewers to contemplate the whirlpool of life, driven by faith and desire, which forms the backdrop of a play that continues to repeat on the wheel of eternal time.
Pongpon Preechanon, an artist from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University, creates contemporary paintings and continuously participates in solo and group exhibitions in Thailand, as well as on the international stage in Singapore.
