A core of fifteen works of the same format make up Andrea Giovannini's personal exhibition Evanescenze. Large paintings of undeniable evocative power are executed using mixed media on wood, incorporating oil, varnish, pastel, and unique color drippings that produce unexpected effects of light and transparency.
These elements generate delicate fragments of landscape, where matter and light interact to create atmospheres that appear both tangible and fleeting. Forests, cliffs, country houses, and ancient castles emerge within the compositions, recalling the scenery of the French Périgord region.
Giovannini's work has always centered on the exploration of landscape, interpreted through careful observation of light. Within this approach, the natural world becomes the setting for a vision that is at once intimate and metaphysical.
