Cortona Week Association

Most education asks what has been understood. Cortona Week asks what happens to the person who understands it. Since 1985, Cortona Week has brought scientists, artists, philosophers and experts from across academic, cultural and professional life together for one week to think beyond the boundaries of their disciplines. Participants listen to lectures, discuss them in small groups, work with scientists, artists, thought leaders, practitioners and live together for the week. The programme allows ideas to move between conversation, practice and everyday life. Participants experience a space to question assumptions, encounter unfamiliar perspectives and connect intellectual understanding with personal experience.
