Arslan Mirza

I’m Arslan Mirza, a writer who never meant to become one—yet here I am, 10+ years deep, over a million words written, and still chasing the next sentence that feels alive.

My writing cycle started with caffeine, insomnia, and curiosity. I didn’t know what I was doing that time. I just wrote what I felt. Then people started reading. Then they started caring. And somewhere between drafts, deadlines, and doubt, I realized this wasn’t just a skill. It was who I am.

Today, I write for places that value thought—Paradigm Shift, Stratheia, Python in Plain English, and Medium.com, where I’ve published more than 1,200 articles. I also work remotely with Email Warmup Canada, crafting stories and campaigns that make brands sound more human in a world that’s drowning in automation.

What I actually do

I write things that connect. Sometimes it’s an op-ed dissecting social change. Sometimes it’s a marketing email that makes you stop scrolling. And sometimes a technical article that turns complex ideas into something anyone can understand.

But under all of these, it’s the same job: to make people feel something through words. I’ve written across formats and industries: opinion pieces, brand copy, tutorials, and scripts. My focus is on clarity, persuasion, and honesty, because when writing feels real, it works.

The work behind the name

Email Marketing Content Writer, Email Warmup (Canada)—turning deliverability and data into storytelling.

Op-ed Writer & Research Analyst, Paradigm Shift and Stratheia—exploring politics, society, and the chaos in between.

Technical Writer, Python in Plain English—translating code into human language.

Freelance Writer, Medium.com—1000+ stories, countless lessons.

Before all that, I wrote for Joshua & Hussain Enterprises and worked in customer support at ibex, which taught me what empathy really means: the ability to listen before you speak.

A mind for numbers, a heart for words

I studied mathematics and statistics at Bahauddin Zakariya University. That’s where I learned logic, structure, and the beauty of precision, all of which somehow found their way into my writing.

Now, I’m adding more tools to the box: studying Persuasive Writing at Harvard University and working toward the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, because great writing comes from learning.

I’ve learned that writing isn’t just about style—it’s about stamina. It’s the discipline to rewrite the same line a dozen times until it finally breathes. It’s about empathy, curiosity, and the courage to say something that might matter. Each project teaches me something new about people, persuasion, and the strange poetry of technology and emotion colliding on a screen. Writing, for me, is both craft and confession—a way to make sense of the world while trying to make it a little clearer for others too.

My style

People say my writing has rhythm, the kind that sounds like someone actually talking. That’s deliberate. I don’t write to impress my readers. The main goal is to express. I use simple words, bold thoughts, and an unapologetically human voice. I try to write in a way that feels honest. No fluff. No jargon. Just words that carry weight.

Where I’m headed

I’m building more than a career; I’m building a voice. The kind of voice that speaks with conviction. I believe in writing that stirs thought, builds trust, and leaves a mark. Because if your words don’t move someone, what’s the point?

I’m also learning to slow down—to let silence shape the sentence. Good writing isn’t just about what you say, but what you leave unsaid. The pauses, the restraint, the honesty between the lines—that’s where the real connection happens. Every story I write is an attempt to reach that space, the quiet truth behind all the noise.

So yeah—I’m Arslan Mirza. The guy who still believes in honest writing, loud ideas, and revolution through words. If that sounds like your kind of madness, read my recent piece.
