Sophie Marsham is a sculptor and public artist with over 20 years experience in steel, recycled metals and large-scale installations. Her public sculptures are enjoyed by audiences all over the UK and Internationally. Working with reclaimed and found objects, Sophie is able to transform the old into new. This is her third solo exhibition at the Coningsby Gallery.

Profound Objects will be a highly personal collection of sculptures and wall hanging low-relief works that explore loss, death, random chance encounters and the profound effect that nature can have on the state of the human spirit especially when it is at its most vulnerable.

She hopes to bring beauty and humour to the work whilst challenging the viewer to engage in the more complex rawness of the meanings behind it.
