As we celebrate this year’s talents, we also reflect on last year’s edition. In 2024, the Ron Mandos Young Blood Award went to Katarzyna Baldyga, whose abstract, layered paintings made a lasting impact. Continuing a valued tradition, Museum Voorlinden acquired one of her works for its collection. Mayte Breed received the RM Photo Talent Award and presents her work with Galerie Ron Mandos this year (to be announced; previously Unseen). The RM Residency Award at Brutus was shared by Michał Kucharski and Tijn Gerards, while the Public Choice Award went to Mounir Eddib, who also designed the visual identity for this year’s exhibition, seen above.
