EXiT, the new project space at Catharine Clark Gallery, is proud to present its inaugural group exhibition, Where have all the flowers gone? This thoughtfully curated show marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the gallery, bringing together a dynamic group of artists whose practices engage with themes of memory, transformation, and cultural reflection. With a title that evokes a sense of longing and historical resonance, the exhibition invites viewers to contemplate cycles of beauty, loss, and renewal.

The show features works by a diverse and multigenerational roster of artists, including Lenka Clayton, Arleene Correa Valencia, Timothy Cummings, Reniel Del Rosario, Michael Hall, Julie Heffernan, Al Lewis, Brian Singer, Stephanie Syjuco, Tina Rath, Josephine Taylor, Amy Tavern, Masami Teraoka, Imin Yeh, and Wanxin Zhang. Together, these artists present a wide range of media and conceptual approaches, from intricate ink drawings and sculptural installations to politically charged textiles and multimedia works. Despite their varied styles, their works share a deep engagement with questions of personal and collective identity.

Where have all the flowers gone? is more than just an exhibition—it’s a reflection on the role of the artist as a witness and a storyteller in times of uncertainty. Each piece in the show contributes to a larger conversation about what is preserved, what is forgotten, and how art can serve as both a site of remembrance and a catalyst for change. As the first presentation within EXiT, the exhibition sets the tone for future programming that aims to be both critically engaged and emotionally resonant.
