The Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Fine Arts, through the National Museum of Art, present the temporary exhibition Germán List Arzubide. Life lies in letters, which highlights a vanguard figure and a key reference in the cultural life of 20th-century Mexico.
The exhibition aims to acknowledge the significant influence of Germán List Arzubide, who was closely connected to the cultural, ideological, social, and educational development of the country. Featuring nearly 300 pieces, visitors will encounter artworks, photographs, puppets, books, handwritten documents, and correspondence that pay tribute to the writer born in Puebla.
The exhibition is enriched by works from Diego Rivera, Aurora Reyes, Ezequiel Negrete Lira, Juan Leonardo Cordero, Francisco Arturo Marín, Luis Arenal, Isaías Cervantes, Enrique Gottdiener, and Ramón Alva de la Canal, among others.
