Fridge Art Fair Miami is thrilled to announce that its 2024 edition, Fridge Does Freddie. The Freddie Mercury project, featuring the return of the flamingo, will return this December 3-8 with an expanded footprint, now featuring four unique venues across Miami Beach. This year’s theme celebrates artistic freedom, diversity, and the enduring legacy of Freddie Mercury as a cultural icon and the flamingo as a symbol of resiliency.

Each venue offers a distinctive experience, and we can’t wait to share more details soon about the special showcases planned for each space. The anchor venue, the Mini-Fridge, will once again be hosted at the LGBT Visitor Center, underscoring our commitment to inclusivity and the vital role of LGBTQ+ spaces in supporting the arts. Fridge Art Fair extends heartfelt gratitude to the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and the LGBT Visitor Center for their unwavering support, making it possible for Fridge Art Fair to flourish and inspire during this pivotal time for art and representation.

Blending vintage aesthetics with contemporary art; the present and future, with a nod to the past.

Walk-in-Fridge, The One50 Hotel

An immersive experience at The One50 Hotel, inviting guests to step “inside” the art and be part of the journey. Visitors can expect a whirlwind of new artist projects, performances, and workshops designed to celebrate the spirit of Freddie Mercury and his unifying impact through music with more information soon. David Craig Ellis, Jean Blackwell Font, Eric Ginsburg, Kaitlin Martin, and David Waage will co-direct and curate spaces within the fair.

As we bring Fridge Does Freddie to life across these four venues, the Fridge team is beyond excited and prouder than ever to celebrate art and community. We’re sticking to our slogan, “Can you fit into the fridge?”. This year promises to be our biggest, boldest celebration yet.
