The World’s First Fully Immersive Virtual-Reality-Enhanced Exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery The State Tretyakov Gallery, in partnership with VRTech Group, is thrilled to announce the launch of the world’s first fully immersive virtual-reality-enhanced exhibition: ‘’Goncharova and Malevich: In Three Dimensions’’ celebrating the legacy of the founders of Russia’s avant-garde movement, Natalia Goncharova and Kazimir Malevich.

Tretyakov visitors will be invited to experience full virtual immersion and though their headsets will be transported into the carefully recreated studios of late artists Goncharova and Malevich. Within this virtual space, the user will not only witness the creative process behind the making of an artwork but will also be able to reproduce the artists’ greatest pieces using paint brushes on canvas, resulting in the creation of their own still-life artwork. The results can be shared on the participants’ social media platforms making the experience interactive and engaging.

The exhibition is open to the public from June 5 until July 25, 2018, which coincides with the the FIFA World Cup. Holders of the FIFA World Cup Fan ID can enjoy a complimentary pass to attend the exhibition until July 15, 2018.
