How do our lungs, liver, and kidneys work? What makes our heart beat? Why is the way to a man’s heart through his stomach? In the new exhibit at the Haus der Natur, we’ll discover our never-resting inner life from a different perspective!

Large-scale naturalistic models of our organ systems and interactive stations provide us with a striking picture of all that our body accomplishes day in and day out. From animated films that take us to the innermost parts of our lungs to a game where we can follow every detail as a schnitzel passes through our digestive tract – the exhibits impart knowledge that is tangible and concrete.

If you ever wonder why we actually eat food, this question receives an answer, too. We learn where the different building blocks come from and why we need them. Another part of the exhibit “speaks” completely openly about sexuality without any taboos.
