Two robots, a robot dog, a fountain and screens with performers play the leading role in Sprung a Leak – the latest work by Cécile B. Evans (°1983, Belgium-U.S.A.).

The conversations between the robots and the performers are reactions to information leaks and breaches in a computer system. In this way, Evans exposes emotions and vulnerabilities in a rapidly changing digital world.

Recent selected solo exhibitions include Galerie Emanuel Layr, Vienna (AT), Tate Liverpool (UK), Kunsthalle Aarhus (DK), Kunsthalle Winterthur (CH) and De Hallen Haarlem (NL).
