Presented at Gow Langsford Gallery’s City gallery, this exhibition brings together a carefully considered selection of recent works from the gallery’s roster of represented artists. Spanning a wide range of mediums, approaches, and conceptual frameworks, the exhibition highlights the richness and diversity of contemporary artistic practice across Aotearoa, offering insight into the varied directions and concerns shaping artists working today.

Through painting, sculpture, installation, and other media, the works on view reflect both individual artistic voices and broader dialogues within the local and international context. The exhibition emphasizes the depth and dynamism of the gallery’s program, creating a space where different practices coexist, intersect, and expand upon one another.

The exhibition coincides with the Aotearoa Art Fair 2026, held from 30 April to 3 May at Viaduct Events Centre, and extends the conversations and energy generated by the fair into a more intimate and focused setting. Within the gallery space, visitors are invited to engage more closely with the works, allowing for a slower, more contemplative encounter with contemporary art.
