Skoufa Gallery happily presents Alexis Kyritsopoulos’ new solo exhibition, titled Memory theatre. The show opens on Saturday 14th March 2026 at 12:00 and it will run until the 18th April 2026.

At this new exhibition, Alexis Kyritsopoulos presents work that moves through a space of memory, imagination and personal experience. The painter does not use color as a mere artistic medium, but as the main body of sentiments. Through this, he transforms visual reality into a psychological experience, by emphasizing an experiential viewing rather than a realistic depiction. His painting does not analyze; it is based on the sentiment while color becomes reality’s perceptual medium.

The Memory theatre is an invitation to a poetic and deeply human world, where painting becomes a place for reflection. At a period of time when speed and noise dominate, Kyritsopoulos suggests a pause – a return to an inner life.
