Starting December 12, 2025, Les Territoires de la Mémoire invites the public to discover Podium, a unique exhibition about — and with — sport. Conceived as an inclusive and participatory project, the exhibition approaches sport not only as competition, but as a powerful cultural and social phenomenon shaped by collective memory, identity, and emotion.
Hosted in the former Sauvenière swimming pool, now known as La Cité Miroir, Podium unfolds within a striking architectural setting that enhances its immersive character. Designed to engage visitors of all ages, the exhibition offers an interactive journey through the world of sport, weaving together personal narratives, social issues, and shared experiences. Through multimedia displays and dynamic scenography, it highlights both celebrated achievements and more intimate, behind-the-scenes moments.
By inviting visitors to actively participate, Podium creates a space for reflection as much as for enjoyment. It allows audiences to relive iconic moments while also considering the broader impact of sport on society, from questions of inclusion and resilience to collective joy and solidarity. The exhibition will be on view until May 10, 2026, offering ample time to explore this vibrant dialogue between sport, memory, and community.
