Nancy Toomey Fine Art is pleased to announce Obsessive | Compulsive, a group exhibition on view from December 17, 2025, to January 31, 2026. Curated by Eric Butcher, the exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists whose practices are united by processes of repetition, precision, and sustained focus.

The exhibition features works by Larry Bell, Lucinda Burgess, Eric Butcher, Morrissey & Hancock, Andy Harper, Sam Hodge, Barbara Nicholls, Matthew Picton, Diogo Pimentão, Gregg Renfrow, Giulia Ricci, Michael Russell, Carole Silverstein, and Suzan Woodruff. Across a range of media and approaches, these artists explore the tension between control and compulsion, structure and intuition.

Obsessive | Compulsive examines how meticulous labor and iterative gestures can become both a formal strategy and a conceptual framework. The exhibition offers a thoughtful reflection on the role of discipline, obsession, and material engagement in contemporary art practices.
