Liminal Gallery are delighted to announce the opening of Liminal salon III, an annual group exhibition bringing together artists who have exhibited across our two spaces - the Main Space and The Cupboard - over the past 3 years. This year’s Salon showcases an expanded roster of voices working across drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, limited edition prints, and embroidery.
Now in its third iteration, Liminal salon III continues the gallery’s commitment to celebrating the breadth and vitality of contemporary practice. The exhibition presents established and emerging artists side by side, each contributing distinctive approaches to material, form, and narrative. While the works vary in medium and method, they are united by an exploration of transformation; the shifting boundaries between disciplines, ideas, and states of being that define the liminal.
The exhibition reflects the dynamic and inclusive spirit that underpins Liminal Gallery’s programme, offering an intimate survey of the conversations that have shaped the gallery. Through gestures both playful and profound, the artists invite viewers into a multifaceted dialogue on identity, texture, symbolism, and surface.
Liminal salon III includes works by: Henrietta Armstrong, Barnaby Barford, Ingrid Berthon-Moine, Anna Blom, Zena Blackwell, Chloe Bonfield, Flora Bradwell, Catherine Chinatree, Cedric Christie, Damien Cifelli, Fernanda Cortes, Liz Crossfield, Zoe De Caluwé, Damien Flood, Laura Ford, Dana Fox, Abigail Hampsey, Julia Ellen Lancaster, Catherine Lette, Natalka Liber, Mercedes Lucy, Lucy Lyons, Sarah Maple and Meg Mosley, Eleanor McCaughey, Lindsey Jean McLean, Jennifer Nieuwland, Carson Parkin-Fairley, Emma Richardson, Simona Ruscheva, Jemima Sara, Fipsi Seilern, David Shillinglaw, Louise Frances Smith, Alexis Soul-Gray, Thelma Speirs, Olivia Strange, Katie Tomlinson, Andrew Torr, Candice Tripp, Maud Whatley and Jayne Wright.
