Kristof De Clercq is thrilled to present Two-way, a duo exhibition with works by German artists Thomas Müller (b. 1959) and Brigitte Stahl (b. 1964).

Bringing together two distinct yet complementary practices, Two-way explores how dialogue can emerge through contrast and convergence. Both Müller and Stahl engage deeply with line, gesture, and material, yet their approaches differ in rhythm and intent. The exhibition highlights how each artist’s visual language reflects a unique way of perceiving and constructing space—one intuitive and fluid, the other structured and contemplative.

Through drawing, painting, and mixed media, the artists create works that resonate with a quiet intensity. Müller’s pieces often suggest movement and transformation, while Stahl’s compositions investigate balance, form, and the subtle interplay of color and texture. When presented together, their works invite the viewer to consider how artistic exchange can expand perception and meaning.

On view from 23 November until 21 December 2025, Two-way offers an intimate look at two artists united by curiosity and precision. Their shared commitment to exploration underscores the gallery’s ongoing focus on contemporary practices that bridge intuition and discipline, emotion and structure.
