JDJ, Chozick Family Art Gallery, and Deanna Evans are joining forces to present a special group shop for the holiday season, offering collectors and art enthusiasts a unique opportunity to purchase original works from a diverse roster of artists. This collaborative initiative emphasizes community, creativity, and giving back, making it the perfect occasion to support both the arts and meaningful causes during the festive season. Each gallery involved will contribute 10% of their sales proceeds to selected nonprofit organizations, ensuring that the spirit of generosity extends beyond the walls of the galleries.
JDJ has chosen to support Artists & Mothers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting emerging and mid-career artists who identify as mothers. By directing a portion of sales to this organization, the galleries are helping provide resources, opportunities, and recognition to artists who balance creative practice with caregiving responsibilities. This commitment highlights the importance of nurturing the artistic community while acknowledging the challenges faced by mothers in sustaining their artistic careers.
The holiday group shop will feature works by an impressive lineup of artists, including Myles Bennett, Julia Felsenthal, Heather Guertin, Minako Iwamura, Shawn Kuruneru, Lucia Love, Sharon Madanes, Barrow Parke, George Simmonds, Shino Takeda, and Jamie Gray Williams. From vibrant paintings to thoughtfully crafted sculptures and mixed-media pieces, the exhibition offers a broad spectrum of artistic voices and styles. Collectors and visitors alike will have the chance to discover unique pieces that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of giving.
