After more than one hundred years of history, the house that now houses the Pedro de Osma Museum remains the most imposing building in the Barranco district. Built in 1906 by Pedro de Osma y Pardo, a prominent lawyer and politician, as his family's summer residence, the house was designed by renowned architect Santiago Basurco. It stands out for its French-inspired style, art nouveau stained glass windows, metal ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and its beautiful garden surroundings.
