Cosimo Simeone is a registered physiotherapist and writer with 7 years of international experience, in different countries in Europe and America. He is from a little city in Puglia (Italy), called Martina Franca. After he completed high school at only 19 years old, he left his hometown to study first Sports Science at the University of Gabriele D’ Annunzio in Chieti.
After 1 year of sports science, he decided to follow his dream and study physiotherapy at the University of Bari, Italy where he graduated in 2016. Then his work brought him to travel and work firstly in Rome where he studied for his first Postgraduate Diploma at the University of Rome-Tor Vergata, then I moved abroad to work and find better opportunities. In 2020 he also started an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath, England.
He had different experiences as a physiotherapist, treating elite athletes and young professionals from top Premier League teams, such as Tottenham, and Arsenal Fc, and also worked with football teams as a first team physiotherapist, which he dreamed of since was a child. He also worked with Triathlon and international athletes from all over the world.
Since Covid, he also started writing academic articles and social media content, such as e-books and materials to share with colleagues. He also studied during these times, the FIFA football medicine diploma and an Fc Barcelona course for training and workloads in team sports. Furthermore, he started to work as a digital physiotherapist for NHS (national health system of England) and important insurance companies such as Bupa (Sanitas) and Axa Health.
Consequently, he decided to found a digital health company, Mundus Health. Mundus Health has the mission to help people worldwide with digital consultations, health blog, and shops. Mundus Health covers at present 3 different parts of health: physiotherapy, nutrition, and mental health He is also currently a writer for the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors (IAPWE) in New York.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, photography, learning new languages, and spending time with friends in nature. He likes to be healthy in fact he practices football, volleyball, and calisthenics.
