Japingka receives thousands of paintings each year and we enjoy hanging groups of works together as much to enjoy the diversity as well as the quality and consistency. Here we have chosen artworks received during this year to present as a group exhibition with artists from many different regions of Australia.

Amongst the 25 artists whose paintings we have chosen, some are long-time exhibitors at Japingka and some a relatively new to our gallery. We do not often get the opportunity to run one-artist exhibitions for many of these artists, so it is a great pleasure to put together some highly distinguished artists along with some of the more recent painters.

Some of the artists that you may not hear of so often include Freda Price Pwerle, Renae Nakamarra Nelson, Rosemary Porter and Michelle Butler. Artists who have had their own exhibitions over the years include Damien and Yilpi Marks, Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi, Polly Ngale, Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa, Amanda Westley and Sonya Edney. We will display the exhibition at Japingka until 21 October 2025.
