The master’s works are held by leading museums of the world; his monumental compositions are gracing squares of Russian, European and American cities. He performed sculptural portraits, easel works and various graphic cycles. Alexander Nikolaevich also has a literary talent: he wrote several books and a number of articles where he discusses the essence of art, analyzes artistic processes of the current and passed times.

Alexander Burganov is a keen explorer of human nature, feelings and interaction with the surrounding world, which makes his artwork deeply philosophical and emotionally rich. Burganov’s plastic language is, on the one hand, filled with classical reminiscences, and, on the other, contains multiple references to surrealist techniques.

The exhibition includes works from the Tretyakov Gallery, the sculptor’s studio in Moscow and Moscow State Museum “Burganov House”. The exposition provides an opportunity to learn more about Alexander Burganov’s creative thinking and his original metaphoric artistic perception.
