Welcome to our summer exhibition, Formal ruptures, which brings together recent works by a selection of contemporary artists working across various mediums and formal approaches. This curated presentation explores the tensions and dialogues between structure and disruption, material and gesture.
The exhibition features new pieces by Joost Vandebrug, Steen Ipsen, Anna Taina, and Thomas Trum, each engaging with questions of surface, form, and repetition in distinct ways. From sculptural ceramics to large-scale painting and conceptual photography, the works on view challenge traditional boundaries and open up space for new visual languages.
Also included are collaborative works by Karl Jonathan Sandegård and Anne Mette Larsen, whose joint practice investigates textile as a conceptual and tactile field. Their contributions further expand the exhibition’s inquiry into how artists today embrace and subvert formal conventions.
