Altamira Fine Art in Jackson Hole, WY is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Kenneth Peloke June 24-July 8, 2025.

Over time I have learned the horse is a reflection of who I am. I’ve always admired artists who can paint self- portraits. I have never really attempted them, but maybe will someday. Until then I paint horses. They are timeless and will capture the attention and imagination of those who they come in close contact with. They are beautiful, noble beings and we need that in our lives.

(Kenneth Peloke)

Kenneth Peloke’s bold, large-scale canvases convey the pure essence of his subjects. His multi-media approach creates a depth and uniqueness to each one, using variation, transparency and layering techniques. The incredible realism that he captures lends a one-of-a-kind contemporary appeal to his canvases. In his latest body of work, he pushes the boundaries of his comfort zone, narrowing his focus even further to the fine details, while honing his discipline. For him this is a daily practice. “I am impatient by nature, and it can be frustrating to push through to the other side sometimes. Each piece is a challenge in its own way, some are smooth sailing, but most are a test of patience, focus and discipline to get it done and looking right.”, says Peloke. He often does not eat, sleep or think of much else until the piece he is working on comes together. “I will always find a way to complete the piece how it needs to be”, he says.

Kenneth Peloke’s work has been featured in national publications including Western Art Collector, In Style, Luxe and Western Art & Architecture magazines and is displayed in both public and private installations throughout the world including China, Singapore, Australia, New York, Scottsdale, Jackson Hole and Sun Valley, ID.
