Meno Parkas Gallery is pleased to present Jumble, a solo exhibition by emerging Lithuanian artist Rokas Janušonis, on view until June 22, 2025. The exhibition offers a dynamic and introspective journey into the artist’s evolving creative process, marked by experimentation, irony, and poetic randomness.
The title Jumble serves as a metaphor for a roll of dice - an unpredictable arrangement of thoughts, forms, and meanings. Through a multilayered installation composed of deconstructed earlier works, new compositions, and ready-made objects, Janušonis invites viewers into a spatial narrative shaped by memory, perception, and the randomness of everyday experience.
“By connecting objects into layered spatial compositions,” Janušonis explains, “I form a three- dimensional picture, a whole, in which I seek dialogue between objects and a harmony of color, form, and materiality.”
Playfully navigating between irony and marginality, Jumble blurs the boundaries between sculpture, ceramics, and drawing, prompting viewers to consider their own interpretations of the intertwined motifs and meanings.
