The third annual BMW Tate Live Exhibition is dedicated to artist Anne Imhof.

Imhof constructs atmospheric environments inhabited by groups of collaborators. For ten days and five nights, they will take over the Tanks with performances that combine music, painting and choreographed gestures.

During the day, you’ll be able to explore Imhof’s installation of paintings, sculptures and architectural interventions for free. Then in the ticketed evening events, the spaces will come alive with music, lights and live performances.

Please note that The Tanks will close at 17.00 on performance days to allow time to prepare the space for the performances. The evening performances contain explicit content and may not be suitable for children.

Imhof (b.1978) lives and works in Frankfurt and Berlin. She represented Germany at the 2017 Venice Biennale where she was awarded a Golden Lion for her work Faust. This is her first exhibition in a UK museum.
