Exhibition of five significant canvases by Russian artists of the second half of the 19th century from the collection of the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum.

The paintings will be included in the permanent exhibition space in Lavrushinsky Lane. The exhibit displays the monumental panorama of Nizhny Novgorod during a trade fair executed by Alexey Bogolyubov, the canvas The Coast of Dalmatia painted by Ivan Aivazovsky and Ivan Kramskoi’s painting Woman with a Parasol.

Famous works by Ivan Shishkin, such as Morning in a Pine Forest (1889, Tretyakov Gallery), will be surrounded by the master’s two majestic and at the same time lyrical landscapes executed at the heyday of his creative powers.
