Phillips is pleased to present Summer Show 2013 the annual exhibition of artworks created by Phillips London staff.
Exposing the inextricable link between the art professional and the art maker, this selling exhibition enables the general public to sneak a peek at the artistic talent of the staff at Phillips from specialists to business administrators.
Conceived of and executed by the employees of the London office, the works encompass photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, and new media.
‘The gallery at Howick Place is a great space to show work and every year the staff at Phillips get a chance to exhibit alongside their friends and colleagues. The art on display promises to tickle fancies across the spectrum from the sublime to the ridiculous. The contributors are a mixture of professional artists and have-a-go heroes, giving the exhibition a playful air and a feel-good toast to the summer.’ - Ben Walker, Art Technician and co-curator of Phillips Summer Show
