The Museum of Science and technology Leonardo Da Vinci of Milan is continously looking for new ways and languages in order to explain science in the easiest way and accessibile to all; therefore it decided to host within its spaces the exhibition “The trucks of the sun” mostra “Le tracce del Sole” of Stefano Marangon who will exhibit his last works realized with pyrography. The inauguration will take place on July 10 at 6 p.m. and it will be open till August 30.

The period chosen is ideal for the presence of the sun for most of the day; this will enable visitors through organized workshops and meetings to carry out experiments, test applications, understand the use of light and solar energy throughout history and learn about the interaction with the man who has learned to exploit and to turn it into a work of art. An unusual journey to discover across multiple disciplines the use of the sun in science, philosophy, architecture, and above all in revealing, through actions and demonstrations, as Stefano Marangon has managed to create his works by using pyrography with optical lenses and the sunlight.

There will also be a chance to experience his technique participating in the creation of a collective work which will then be donated to the Museum.

During the opening ceremony the participants will be welcomed by harp concert performed by Patrizia Borromeo, will continue with the visit to the exhibition. Exceptionally, at the inauguration of the entrance to the museum will be free, but in the days after the visit to the exhibition will be included in the ticket price.
