Ronald de Bloeme will be premiering at Borzo Gallery this year during the Amsterdam Art Weekend with new paintings and works on paper. His show "Alternative Facts" is interwoven with the bizarre political statements made by the Trump's Administration about his inauguration.

These statements about truth and facts shook up the complete world, especially the free press, artists and intellectuals. For Ronald de Bloeme nothing was the same as before. What is reality and is there such a thing as an alternative fact?

According to De Bloeme, philosophers and artists were always driven by the question "What is truth?". According to this a lot of art has to do with "Alternative Facts" when creating works about nature and culture. "Alternative Facts" is a show where De Bloeme took a graphic color chart from the recent Berliner election outcome as a starting point for his new line of works.
