We are pleased to feature Roll Hardy’s latest work with this new show. Hardy is known for his cityscapes, awash in Northwest wet, grey and grit.

Increasingly documenting places that may soon be gone, Hardy captures what many today call “Old Portland,” urban landscapes in a timeless zone.

The warehouse, the railroad, the landmarks of everyday life – become iconic markers in his paintings, while they simultaneously exist in a dreamlike environment of other possibilities and complex histories of place that are increasingly disappearing.
